Formatting, fonts, and colors

Messages that you reply to or forward are automatically sent in the same format as the original message unless you specify a different format. You can format your mail messages in rich-text (HTML) or plain-text format. For more information on composing messages in rich text see General mail settings.

Note: The rich-text (HTML) editor supports IE, Firefox, and Safari browsers. If you are using an unsupported browser, you can use standard HTML tags in the Compose Message window to format the message (basic HTML knowledge is required).

Formatting a message

Note: You can only format your message if it is in rich-text format. To switch between rich-text and plain-text formats, select from the Format drop-down menu.

  1. If you have chosen to compose messages in rich-text format then you will have the following options are available.
  2. Font:- Select the font from the drop-down menu.

    Text size:- Select the font size from the drop-down menu.

    Bold:- Makes the selected text bold.

    :- Makes the selected text italic.

    :- Underlines the selected text.

    :- Select the color of the selected text from the list provided.

    :- Select the highlight color of the selected text from the list provided.

    :- Select to make the selected text a bullet list.

    :- Select to make the selected text a numbered list.

    :- Select to indent the selected text to the right.

    :- Select to indent the selected text to the left.

    :- Select to align the selected text to the left margin.

    :- Select to center the selected text.

    :- Select to align the selected text to the right margin.

    :- Select to insert a link into your message.

    :- Select to insert an image into your message. You can either insert an image by attaching it to the message or by linking to an image URL.

    :- Select to add emoticons to your message.

  3. Complete your message.
  4. Click Send.
